Mothers and Special Person's Day Stall

There was a big buzz at school yesterday with lots of excited students waiting for their chance to choose a beautiful gift or two for their mums and special people in their lives from our Mothers and Special Person’s Day stall. A huge thank you to Janelle and Dani and their band of parent volunteers for creating such a beautiful space with an amazing range of gifts for our students to buy. There were also lots of purchases made this morning at the second chance stall.

Colour Fun Run 2023

A huge thank you to our fundraising team and canteen volunteers for organising the Colour Fun Run and special lunch order to end Term One. It was great to see so many families come and join the fun. Thank you to Coles and Nelson Alexander Real Estate for their very generous donations to support our fundraising event.

We were able to fundraise a total of $8,170.68. 

Community Celebration Evening 2023

Thank you to our entire community for a fabulous Whole School Celebration @ Avondale Primary School yesterday.

This event was a terrific way for our community to come together to celebrate 2023. Our student performances were outstanding and the audience were treated to singing superstars.

The Art show was another highlight of our evening, with students excitedly showing off their artwork to family and friends. To have so many families at school, catching up, having picnics, purchasing drinks and ice creams from Di in the Canteen, playing games supplied by TeamKids and buying even more raffle tickets was a delight to witness.

A big thank you to our fundraising committee for organising the Christmas raffle which was drawn at the end of our celebration evening last night. We received many generous donations from our families and local businesses and were able to organise over 40 fantastic prizes, raising a total of $5,932.57.
